      In Chapter 2, "Developing a Connected Learning Model," we explore how learning environments are created in order to integrate personal interests, social engagement, and academic skills to better relate to students in the classroom. Not only does this create a more engaging classroom, but also benefits the teachers and administration in knowledge content and connectiveness within the community. This chapter explains that connected learning thrives in environments where mentorship and peer collaboration are a priority.     Nowadays, times are different when it comes to how students learn.
